Key Control
Regardless of the key design, the ultimate factor to the controlling any master key system is by controlling access to keys for your facility. Anytime a key is issued, whether it's to management, employees, janitorial company, or vendors, there is the chance duplicate keys will be made, without your knowledge or proper authorization. Keys can be stamped "Do Not Duplicate", but if the key blank is available there is no guaranty unauthorized copies will not be created. By maintaining a patented key control system, there is no guesswork as to who has your keys...you know!
